Calibrations are typically carried out 2-3 months (100hours usage) after the phosphors have a chance to burn in.
The end result is phenomenal - looks like 3D!
If you think LCD is the best, be prepared to take dissapointment well........
It is also recommended that a control system be attached to the screen to trigger calibration presets for each source component on each video input.
Calibration is performed by Melbourne based “AVICAL” - an expert calibration company with over $50k in specialist broadcast calibration equipment, they are also ISF certified.
